Can you tell me more about the approach you use?

I integrate compassion focused and cognitive behavioural therapy with mindset coaching and yoga philosophy, breathwork and movement.

Compassion focused therapy (CFT) draws from neuroscience and evolutionary, social and Buddhist psychology. It’s especially effective for targeting self-criticism and cultivates a compassionate approach to ourselves and others. 

Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) focuses on the connection between beliefs, thoughts, feelings and behaviour. It teaches us to challenge unhelpful thinking and behaviour and to build helpful coping skills.

Mindset coaching focuses on identifying and replacing the beliefs that prevent us from living the life we desire. Fears are tackled and helpful tools are provided to rally against the dark forces of self-doubt!

Yoga philosophy focuses on developing mental, emotional and physical harmony. Breathwork and movement are fundamental for targeting the physical effects of a self-critical and anxious mind.
